For our freedom, on Remembrance Day we remember; for the support we too often take for granted, we remember; for the people to whom we turn when crisis strikes, we remember; for the lives and minds sacrificed, we remember; for the families who have lost husbands, wives, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons, we remember; for those who stand on guard for all that Canada holds dear, we remember; for those suffering as a consequent to their military service, we remember; and to our Government, we respectfully remind that our military families and survivors deserve good pensions and effective medical services and support. They did not abandon us when we needed them most, and we must not abandon them when they need us the most.
